While Boeing has just introduced its latest B747-8 , intended to compete with the A-380, I just wanted to propose these two boards on the changing patterns of aircraft.
The most amazing thing is of course the numerous avenues explored around hang gliders in the 50 and 60 (above board).
The wings appeared to then as the future, including a prototype as the Northrop YB-49 (picture above), while the double deckers as Constitution of Lockheed Aircraft (picture below), seemed them convicted. Today, quite the contrary.
